On July 1st we celebrated our Canada Day here in Bosnia by holding a Sports Day. The day began with standard patrolling and then in the afternoon the festivities commenced. Sports for the day would consist of Ball Hockey, Three on Three Basketball, Three on Three Volleyball, Doubles Foosball, Doubles Pool and 2 special events, The Water Balloon Toss and The Egg Toss. All organizations within the camp participated in the events, including our special guests the IPTF(International Police task Force), military members and Atco-Frontec. Not to be foiled by the foul rainy weather that always manages to show up only when outdoor activities are planned the games started at one o'clock and would carry through until last light had fallen upon the camp. The only respite from sports was the hour long pause for our long awaited Steak and Lobster dinner. After consuming copious amounts of food the competitors headed back to the by now defined battlefields of sports. The afternoon showed strong competition by all competitors but alas only the strongest of teams would survive. Our victors:
